Horror
Independent Project
Acrylic, Pencil
This piece is a rehash of a class assignment, orginally
drawn in chalk and charcoal. I repainted it in acrylic--a
much more durable medium. This painting was for use
on a bookmark, and was just a part of a group project
to create identity materials for a local bookstore.
Each genre of book was to be represented... I was given
horror. I used the images of a lonely farmhouse with
the Psycho killer in the window. Outside, an axe ominously
sits in a stump while a raven sits atop an old iron
fence. Creepy, huh?
